To
complement the existing functionality of the Landmark
and MQ Radio Telemetry systems,
Alphr Telemetry also offer an embedded software
service.
This is aimed at providing low cost solutions to
applications where functionality is required from the system which is not
already incorporated.
Examples of the service are shown below :
| Landmark
/ MQ Protocol Converter The Landmark and MQ systems have an RS232 Serial input/output as standard for connection into a PLC or PC based monitoring station. This output however is in a specialist Alphr Telemetry protocol. To accomodate industry standard protocols such as Modbus and DF1, we have developed a range of protocol Converters. These simply sit between the Receiver and the PLC/PC providing a data link in the required format. |

| Landmark
Datalogger As real-time telemetry systems, Landmark and MQ have no facility for storing data - this is usually achieved by a PC based monitoring station. The requirement arose however for a system where the PC was used as an office terminal primarily, but was required to upload data from the telemetry system every midnight. A unit was thus developed which simply sat on the RS232 output of the Landmark Receiver and, at regular intervals, logged the current data for all outstations. The PC system would then upload all logged data as required. |
