| The telescope has a
dome that rotates freely on top of the building and it is powered via a slip
ring. An Alphr Telemetry MQ
Telemetry system controls the opening /closing of the hatches, windscreen,
lights and various interlocks.
They also gather digital and analogue information of hatches and crane status, wind speed, temperature and humidity. All the MQ modules of the fixed side are connected to a VME unit, where the information as well as the control commands are processed. |
