Case-Study : TAY WASTE WATER PROJECT
Alphr Telemetry have recently completed work on the radio telemetry for one of the largest civil engineering projects undertaken in Scotland.
The Tay Waste Water project is on the the most ambitious ever undertaken in Scotland and will bring massive environmental improvements to the Tay Estuary and surrounding area.
The current sewerage system of multiple outfalls into the Tay Estuary between Invergowrie and Arbroath has been replaced with a single outfall which discharges treated waste water far out to sea. This required a highly sophisticated telemetry system.

Alphr Telemetry developed and engineered a solution comprising a network of 13 telemetry outstations along the coast of Scotland. This facilitates system control and monitoring, incorporating the new state-of-the-art treatment plant at Hatton near Carnoustie.
